AI vs Authenticity: The 21st Century Quest for Self-Mastery
Everyone is talking about AI when they should be doing the inner work to excavate their authentic self – along with their purpose.
But I suppose AI is a tool from the future that we are tasked with "grounding" at this time, so it makes sense that so many are assigned with advancing it as well as their understanding of how to use it to do good in society.
Yet the call to align with authenticity and one's true purpose remains.
And no one can give you a shortcut to complete that quest!
Not AI
Not coaches
Not therapists
Not even God
Unless you're willing to sit down and look within, your inner work will remain on your to-do list until you can no longer ignore it.
Authenticity is intelligence. It's your own Higher Self! It's the wisdom of your own Higher Self – or Soul, or consciousness – that you can access at any point by simply tuning inwards. Of course, there's a huge clearing that must happen beforehand in order for you to remove the blockages that have kept you from accessing your own infinite internal system your whole life.
AI is the artificial intelligence. It's the "friend" that you can turn to when you don't have the answer to a question, because your database is yet to add information about an unexplored topic. You can also give commands to this friend of yours, which changes the dynamics of the relationship a bit, thus positioning you as the "master" of it.
While AI is the intelligence outside of you, authenticity guides you back to your own internal intelligence, so you can master yourself!
We can now talk about people who are truly authentic and those that are referring to themselves as authentic while they are still mimicking everyone around them (still in their "toddler" phase of being authentic), but what truly matters is doing the inner work.
Eventually, a toddler becomes an adult.
But those that haven't even begun doing the inner work... are they stuck in the developmental phase of a "baby", or perhaps a "foetus" – still asleep in the womb of the cosmos that gives birth to our consciousness?
There's a reason people refer to their spiritual awakening as a "rebirth".
Some are pushed out of the womb before they feel ready to jump, others are brave enough to take the leap of faith themselves.

Big ideas like AI and authenticity deserve big conversations, and when a big conversation is possible, growth inevitably occurs that helps us advance our understanding of the external as well the internal world(s) we're part of!
